VIRTUS TRAINING

This training is REQUIRED of all volunteers and staff who work with children and who work with the elderly.

What is VIrtus Training? The Protecting God's Children program is an awareness session that is designed to educate adults on how to recognize the warning signs of child sexual abuse and what to do when they suspect a child is being victimized.  

If you are wondering if you need this training or not, ask yourself, "do I volunteer or work at St. Mary's or St. Joseph Parishes in any capacity?" If the answer is yes, then you need this training in order to be a volunteer.
