Eucharistic Ministry
Eucharistic Ministers prayerfully serve the people of Sts. Mary & Joseph Collaborative by distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during Eucharistic celebrations.
Requirements
- To be a Eucharistic Minister is to know deeply that we are the Body and Blood of Christ.
- A fully initiated Catholic, having celebrated the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and First Eucharist.

Homebound Ministry
Bring Eucharist to the homebound, or those in the hospital, a skilled nursing facility, or retirement community.
Requirements
- Practicing Catholic
- Good communication and people skills
- Honest and trustworthy
- Willing to give the time needed to serve in this ministry
- Interview and training prior to serving in this ministry
- VIRTUS certification
- Annual CORI form
Amount of Time Required
Approximately one hour once a week.When Ministry is Performed
Monday through Sunday, depending on individual schedules.

SacristansSacristans are volunteers who assist the priest in preparations for daily and weekend Mass, funerals, etc. .

Greeters & UshersThe ushers/greeters are a dedicated group of men and women who welcome all as they enter our churches. They coordinate the monetary collection at each Mass, as well as invite participants for the Presentation of the Gifts.

Coffee & Donut Ministry
This group of volunteers will help in the various tasks needed to set up, hand out, and clean up for Coffee and Donuts at both parishes at various times!

Lector MinistryA dedicated team of adults and youth parishioners assist at parish worship by proclaiming the Scripture readings at Mass and other liturgies. Readers are scheduled on a rotating basis.
Basic Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Registered member of the parish
- Feel called by the Holy Spirit to proclaim God's Word
- Prepare and proclaim God's Word for assigned liturgies
- Attend VIRTUS/Protecting God's Children Awareness Session (ONE-TIME - currently offered online due to Pandemic)
- Complete an annual CORI Screening Form
